People say that the Spanish league is the best in the world and criticize the English Premier for having the same teams at or near the top every year.

Barcelona finished with 99 points and Real Madrid with 96, Valencia in third were 28 points behind, Everton in 8th finished closer to Chelsea than that. With Valencia about to sell their top players likely to Barcelona or Real Madrid, next season's third place finisher could be even further behind.

With Barcelona about to finalize the deal for David Villa and supposed to have made an official inquiry regarding Fabregas, not to mention being linked to Torres, one can only wonder who Real Madrid will make a move for. Real have already been linked to Rooney, Tevez and di Maria, and with Mourinho seemly headed there Lampard and Ashley Cole as well.

Funny how Platini and B latter continue to criticize the English clubs for living above their means, but seem to be quite about the situation in Spain.
